3521 Grafts to lower hairline and fill crown.

28th Sept 06

Just back from a fantastic experience with Dr Hasson. The whole procedure was amazing and somehow he managed to pull 7761 FU from my NW5/6 donor area.
Dr Hasson said my scalp laxity was amazing after 4 months of vigorous scalp exercise and my density was way above average. At first Dr Hasson said we should be able to get 5000 which I was really pleased with, then he said the techs were predicting around 6500, I was over the moon. Then he came in again and told me they manged to get 7761, I nearly fell off the chair.

Considering when I first found this forum I posted my pics up and had lots of responses telling me that I wasn't a suitable candidate as my donor area was to thin, just shows you it's always best to see the doctor in person as you never know what your outcome could be.

I cannot speak highly enough of H&W they make you feel so at ease and welcome, and all the staff are very friendly. The techs do an amazing job and are really hard working. The procedure was the longest that Dr Hasson and his team have ever done. We started at 7.15am and finally finished at 1.15am the next day!! The 2 techs that stayed right until the end Jody and Rebbecca deserve a special mention, they were totally professional right to the end and were a good laugh too, which helped the time go by. Also I would like to mention Slava as she great too. I also met Doug and Joe who were real good guys and made you feel really welcome.

Dr Hasson said its the 2nd biggest procedure he has ever done, I was a couple of hundred short of the record. I would recommend anyone who plans to have a big session with H&W not to fly home the next day. I flew home the afternoon after the procedure and it was a big mistake. It didn't help that the plane stopped twice on the way back to the UK. By the time I landed back in London my head had swollen like a balloon and the other passengers were looking at me like I was a freak, I think i may have scared them!!

I will be posting progress pics as the months go by so watch this space........
